From Nursing Measles to being a Pedestrian Bridge Cleaner - Must Read...

https://efixi.blogspot.com/p/photo-book.htmlThe presence of Shuaib Gbadamosi on the Ikeja-Along pedestrian bridge is not a news to many but how he got there remains a mystery. That's about to be unraveled.

Shuaib Gbadamosi hails from Kwara State. When he was a kid, he suffered from measles and in a bid to treat same through injection, he became paralyzed.
He narrated that a lot of children at that time lost their lives to this ailment but to the glory of God he survived same.
He's been very industrious since he got to Lagos and been taking care of his wife and 5 children who all reside with him at his personal residence in Ota, Ogun State.

Shuaib Gbadamosi chose to render community service while people favour and appreciate him with monetary gifts in return. He has been on the Ikeja-along pedestrian bridge for the past 15 years, carrying out this humanitarian service on a daily basis. He mentioned that the past Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola, always gave him and some other persons like him the sum of #10,000 every month for this service but that this stopped immediately after his tenure expired.

He commented that the bad use of the bridge is so discouraging citing the examples of some people dropping refuse from their houses on the bridge and some defecating on it. Nevertheless, he keeps cleaning this link road without relenting. His service on the pedestrian bridge has been so commendable so much that majority of people who pass the bridge feeling comfortable give money to him.

He is willing to keep rendering this service and has appealed to the government to see this as a means of creating job opportunities for people who though are PHYSICALLY-CHALLENGED but NOT LAZY.
Also, he advised people begging for alms with no justifiable cause to stop and find valuable services to render.

I will be sharing more of his moments in my upcoming posts and also on @vauntedframes
Kindly follow and share the updates.
